Abby Hamilton
My name is Abby Hamilton and I am an aspiring country Singer/Songwriter based out of Nicholasville, KY. Throughout my life, country music has had a large presence. Growing up, I was exposed to a lot of music through my family. My parents, my aunts, and my siblings are all singers and players in their own right and have always encouraged me to pursue this passion of country music. I grew up listening to the likes of George Jones, Johnny Cash, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, U2, Dolly Parton, and Sting. I started singing in church (as a lot of people do) and went to Asbury University to study it. I found a deep passion and respect for singing and more specifically songwriting. I have big plans and big dreams. As Dolly Parton always says, “Is there anything you can’t achieve with a little bit of hairspray?”
