The actor and her youngest child will be one of many celebrity mother-daughter duos featured by the shoe brand

In their first-ever campaign together, actor Lori Loughlin and her daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, join Steve Madden in the brand’s upcoming campaign, aptly called “The Perfect Pair.” The mother-daughter duo was photographed side-by-side in the designer’s hometown of New York City, specifically in Soho, where the brand launched its first store in 1993.
For years, daughters have been rummaging through their mothers’ closets for the perfect accessories. Many remember or know the famed shoes from the 1990s, including the brand’s “Slinky” slide sandal. Three decades later, those fan-favorite shoes are still popular, alongside newer styles including the brand’s latest hit boot, the “Rocky.”

Steve Madden acknowledges this age-old pattern with “The Perfect Pair” by tapping various celebrity mother-daughter duos that will help further showcase the brand’s multi-generational appeal to shoppers and fans alike. Highlighting generational pairings makes sense for the company as it approaches the 35-year mark of making on-trend footwear at an accessible price point.

When asked what the “Perfect Pair” campaign means to Steve Madden, the eponymous founder says, “The idea came from people of all ages wearing our shoes. My kids, their friends, and friends’ moms all wear Steve Madden. It doesn’t matter what age you are. Madden is like a good pair of jeans.”
As for why he chose Loughlin and Giannulli, the designer shares, “Who didn’t grow up on ‘Full House’ and Lori? And now Olivia is doing all this great influencing — the kids love Olivia’s content. I just thought it would be cool. A couple of generations’ worth of fun.”
“I was flattered when Steve Madden asked us to be part of the campaign,” says Loughlin. “I love collaborating with Olivia on her channel, so I was very excited for this opportunity to work with her as we both love fashion and Steve Madden. It was an automatic yes!”
Loughlin and Giannulli lean into their different styles and connected bond to highlight the versatility of the Steve Madden brand. In the “Perfect Pair” photos depicting a mother-daughter NYC weekend, it’s clear that even though the two look alike, they are also unique individuals.
In one campaign image, the pair sweetly laughs together as Giannulli models a gray sweatshirt emblazoned with “Lori Loughlin.” Leaning into the current trend among Gen Z, Giannulli pairs the college-style sweatshirt with jean shorts, the monochrome version of the “Everlie” sneaker and calf-length socks. Loughlin looks chic and just as youthful as her daughter, wearing Steve Madden vegan leather pants and an oversized denim jacket sharing the black and white colorway of the “Everlie” sneaker.
“I feel so lucky to do this campaign with my mom,” Giannulli adds of the opportunity. “To be able to dress up together with an emphasis on our relationship is something I will always say yes to.”
